It is the only technopark (Technology Development Zone) established within an Organized Industrial Zone in Izmir. This makes it one of the few technology development zones in Türkiye. Negative aspects: A technopark that takes from you, gives nothing in return, is unfortunately money-focused, lacks social amenities (no coffee, no tea), and where you can rent an incubator or office entirely in a caravan (caravan: bring a kettle, thermos, toaster, Airfyer, etc.). It's extremely far from the city. Positive aspects: If you already have a business, want to benefit from the incentives under Law No. 4691, and are located near the Gaziemir-Menderes-Torbalı triangle, it's a technopark worth considering. The moral of the story: I said "if you already have a business" because if you're an entrepreneur and your business doesn't go well, nobody cares. They charge dues and rent and demand payment. They don't say, "You couldn't do business, you were an entrepreneur, and your business/project didn't work out." Unfortunately, they don't apply the free incubation right included in the law in a commercially oriented way. Even if there are no eggs in the incubator, the technopark management expects an omelet or menemen from you. It's a sad situation. If you are an entrepreneur, don't have a lot of money, and don't yet have a commercialized product, then go somewhere else. (We wish this wouldn't happen, but it did for us, for an entrepreneurial firm we directed, and we are no longer in the technopark. We are sorry.) **Update:** In response to your reply, we are of course making this comment anonymously. Because we are dealing with a business that has turned everything into money and a ruthless group. You even respond with documentation saying that Kemal Deren is not among your entrepreneurs. There are many entrepreneurs named Ali Veli, but their teams and colleagues include thousands of Kemal Derens. Therefore, saying "you are not on my entrepreneur list" is not acceptable. The wounds that the technopark inflicted on us are still a burden on our backs. **Note:** This incident occurred in Izmir Science Park; you would experience the same thing if you went to Ege Technopark or Depark. Technoparks are places for those who have a commercial life and want to benefit from incentives. If you're a poor entrepreneur, they'll take even your last t-shirt and underwear.

Although it's a bit far from the city center of Izmir, you can see this disadvantage as an advantage. Izmir Science Park's distance from the city offers a quiet and peaceful working atmosphere, creating a wonderful working environment. It's a must-visit for aspiring entrepreneurs. In particular, Mr. Kayahan's training and advice to entrepreneurs are extremely valuable. I believe Izmir Science Park will become an important technopark center that increases Türkiye's potential in science and technology and enhances the country's global competitiveness.

Its location, far from the city center but within an organized industrial zone, offers significant advantages for companies in the area, allowing them to both concentrate on their work and benefit from the businesses in the region. Furthermore, being part of the same ecosystem with R&D firms and Science Park stakeholders in İzmir, working in various fields, is highly beneficial for networking and exchanging ideas. The backyard has been landscaped and the canteen and dining hall are also very well maintained. I think it will be lovely in the spring and summer months, and I can't wait to work in a relaxed environment on the lawn in the backyard.
